Content Management Solution Tool:  Incorporated in PACE+ is a content software management tool designed specifically to ease the access, dissemination, and use of the organization’s data.  The Content Management Solution (ContentDistributor™) maximizes and shares the value of information by providing intelligent access to all kinds of electronic content and information.   

ContentDistributor™ was designed to allow organizations to manage their sites without needing to be IT savvy users.  Organization websites are supported by Content Distributor making possible several key features such as announcements, document posting and management, an events calendar and quick links.

Architecture: PACE+ is a web-based solution providing maximum interoperability, designed using industry standard Microsoft (MS) development tools; .NET technology for an Internet-centric industry standard that makes it easier to tie together components, information, data sources, people, systems, and devices through the use of .NET framework. 

PACE+ uses MS SQL Server 2005/2008 as its primary non-proprietary database management and MS IIS (Internet Information Server) as the Internet server with a 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption method. PACE+ also uses a role-based security system (assignable access rights to information based on class of users for individuals and groups) stored in the SQL Server database for authorized access. Windows NT Authentication mechanism is available for single sign-on provided through the portal. Digital Certificates can be used to increase external security as well.

Licensing Model

Self-hosting (PACE+ install at your location) model

We will install and implement PACE+ at your facility, which needs to be equipped with a web/database server (database server can be separate), .NET framework on the server, firewall, and high-speed Internet. We include two site licenses; one for production environment, and the second for the testing/training environment.

SaaS model - Information Hosting and Disaster Recovery

PACE+ offers Software as a Service (SaaS) hosting/co-location hosting services for our clients. We will work with you to identify the most advantageous and cost effective hosting for your organization. All the hosting software, licensing, and hardware (i.e. servers, firewall, and backup) are included. All you need to access PACE+ is your PC and Internet browser. Includes two site licenses; one for production environment, and second for the testing/training environment.

          Our firewall protected servers are fully equipped with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Internet Information Server (IIS) technology to prevent unauthorized access and ensure that your data is safe and secure. As part of our disaster recovery initiative, we maintain our servers on uninterruptible power supply (UPS) platforms which prevents loss of data during a power outage. To further ensure your data integrity is maintained, IIT conducts daily and weekly back-up activities, so data may be reclaimed and restored to its most recent version.
