 Our Mission

“To provide innovative technology solutions thatenable health and human service programs and providers streamline administrative tasks and deliver high quality, efficient, and effective services.”

Interaction Information Technology, Inc. (IIT) was originally established in California in 1989, and then incorporated in Arizona.  Over the past 20+ years, IIT has evolved into a specialized software development and integration company that uniquely responds to an industry need for innovative health and human service information technology solutions.  Our goal as a “technology partner” is to identify and resolve unique problems and challenges associated with managing clinical, financial, administrative, and regulatory information for health and human service programs.

Empowerment Systems, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation supporting a family of health education and wellness programs. Originally founded in 1990 as the Pinal Gila Behavioral Health Association, we served as the regional administrator of public behavioral health funding in two rural Arizona counties. Accredited as a managed behavioral healthcare organization by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, we successfully ensured our provider network’s compliance with various state and federal requirements. Partnering with Interaction Information Technology, we developed our own client enrollment and encounter reporting systems. This successful partnership led to the development of the PACE+ integrated Electronic Health Record Practice Management system. In 2005 we re-structured our organization and broadened our mission to address a wide variety of community health education and wellness needs throughout the state and country. Using our clinical and technical experience and expertise as a managed care organization, we support a number of health informatics programs, including PACE+.
